“Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend” Starring LuAnne Hawkins

This film is a collaboration between Ms. Hawkins, three students, and myself. LuAnne, whose deep jazzy voice graces the song, acted out Marilyn Monroe’s classic piece – as a gangster! This student-driven piece involved cross-country collaboration with students from Oregon to Chicago.  This piece was created entirely with an iPhone and a little help from Adobe Creative Suite. The film cost $2.12 to make! You CAN make a film collaborating with students cross-country, and have a lot of fun! I hope to create more “No Budget” productions with my students in the future.
